About the Strong Athletic Woman Black Crop Top with White Ink
This is a variation of our original Strong Athletic Woman designed, created by Cristen Perks as a gift to Nadia Kean in December 2013. Cristen was teammates with Nadia and used to hearing Nadia refer to her teammates as "a fine group of strong, athletic, women". Nadia said this so much that Cristen put the three words on a shirt for her. No one was surprised when the shirt quickly became Nadia's favorite, wearing it whenever it was clean. Nearly 6 years later, those powerful three words are worn across the chests of women across the world as the movement continues to spread from one woman to the next across borders.
This is a bold statement within a simple design. The words Strong Athletic Woman are printed in white ink on black fabric, the Strong Athletic logo is printed in white ink on both the front and the back of the tank. This tank is by far one of the most popular "cuts" or styles of shirts we've ever carried. Although not everyone is a fan of the crop, what we've heard is... "Once you Crop, You Can't Stop!"
About the Tank Top
The tank top is a Bella Canvas 6682. We call it a "starter" tank top because the length is a bit longer than a super crop-top. In regard to sizing, the sizes are sized to the average body of a cis woman. If you've worn a lot of Bella Canvas, you'll find that the sizing is a bit different from other tanks, with the 2XLs being a bit larger than the other 2XLs. We'd like to give a nod to our UK friends and call this a vest and to our Aussie and New Zealand friends and call this a singlet.
This is what Bella says about the product:
