These are the shirts that Strong Athletic made in collaboration with Roller Derby Battle Buddies. These military green shirts say Strong Athletic Veteran on them. These shirts for vets are screen printed by hand in black ink. 22% of profits from this shirt is donated to Mission 22, an organization that supports Veterans of the US Military.

About the Strong Athletic Veteran Shirt

This design comes in three different styles of shirt: A Crew Neck T-shirt, a Fitted Tank Top and a Racerback Tank.  

Lisa Benson, aka Debella Deball, a veteran of the US Military and a retired member of the Texas Rollergirls, asked Strong Athletic to create the Strong Athletic Veteran shirt for roller derby athletes who are part of the Battle Buddies group. It was decided that 22% of profits from the shirt should be donated to Mission 22. 

From Mission 22, "Mission 22 is a non-profit who combats the ever-rising veteran suicide rate. Every day, more than twenty veterans are lost to suicide. Mission 22 wants to bring that number to zero."

Battle Buddies is a Roller Derby organization that was created to provide support, information, and a continued sense of military community to our Roller Derby veterans and those currently serving in the military. To find their facebook page, click here.
