Finally! After years of anguish and turmoil, Strong Athletic finally created a shirt for roller derby announcers. Matt Hazenberg asked and we said, "Yay! Sounds awesome!" This shirt is for all the amazing announcers in the sport flat track who love roller derby as much as the players, officiators and fans do and who contribute to our success by being the voice that we hear during games. The words Loud. Charismatic. Announcer. are printed in white ink on both a Black Bella Canvas Crew Neck T-shirt and a Black Next Level Festival Muscle Tank.

Love Roller Derby Shirts? Here's info about the "Loud. Charismatic. Announcer." Shirts By Strong Athletic  

We created this roller derby shirt after it was requested by Hazenberg of Red Stick Roller Derby in Baton Rogue, Louisiana. He brought the idea to us at the Big O flat track derby tournament held every year in Eugene, Or, hosted by Emerald City Roller Derby. Apparently when Matt aka Haze, put the idea out there on #derbytwitter the idea was an immediate hit with members of the roller derby announcer community. 

Roller derby announcers are an important part of the derby community. They help spectators understand the game and they help to narrate what is happening on the track. They pay attention to factors that are important and they respect the pronouns of athletes. 

These black shirts say "Loud. Charismatic. Announcer." The words are screen printed by hand in bold white ink with the Strong Athletic logo on the front. The Strong Athletic logo is printed on the back.

The design of this shirt is based on the original "Strong Athletic Woman" design created by Cristen Perks. The words were brought to us by Haze. The Strong Athletic logo was created by Angel Ortega of Garzig Design. This shirt is screen printed by hand in Austin, Texas by Amanda at the Artists Screen Printing Coop.
