About the Strong Athletic Queer Muscle Tank
We created this design as one of the first that we crated at Strong Athletic after we received requests from the queer community to have a design that was not gender specific. Nadia Kean, the owner of Strong Athletic, is part of the LGBTQIA+ community and wanted to wear words across her chest that expressed that she was out and proud of it. Although being able to be open about who you are is a human right, it's still a privilege that not every human has. That is why it is so important to be "out" if you're able to and show the world that you will not be closeted. LGBT+ athletes in sports need support now more than ever and that is what this shirt aims to do- amplify the voices of the LGBTQIA+ experience in sports and in the fitness world.
$1 from the sale of every one of these tanks has been donated in advance to Pull For Pride, a non-profit that supports the LGBQIA Community, specifically LGBT+ youth.
